It’s made using similar methods as regular sparkling wine, but the alcohol is removed through advanced techniques like vacuum distillation or reverse osmosis.

The result? A bubbly, refreshing drink that’s perfect for any occasion. In our experience, we tend to find that NA sparkling wines are among the best imitations of traditional wine. A big part of this is the effect of the bubbles, which sit on and then scrub the palette in a very similar way to most alcoholic sparkling wines.

Legend has it that Dom Pérignon, a Benedictine monk, accidentally discovered the méthode champenoise (Champagne method) while trying to prevent his wines from fermenting in the bottle.

How is Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine Made?

Over the years, the technology has evolved to be a lot more sensitive with the wine - with the goal of removing alcohol without stripping the aroma and flavour.
